Evidentemente vorranno ottimizzare i driver prima di affrontare altri tipi di bench.
Comunque certo non aspettiamoci miracoli d aquesta scheda, senza dubbio sarà valida, ma eccezion fatta qualche miglioramento all'architettura, è sempre una 4870 occata.
Un pò come la 9800 GTX/GTX+ e la GTS 250.
Punteggio basso allo 06 :sisi:...spero escano a brave, vorrei vedere dei numeri concreti

bè, niente di nuovo. le prestazioni sono migliorate di qualche FPS, ma logicamente non potevano far miracoli
Techpowerup, Anandtech e Guru3D hanno fatto anche loro delle rece molto lunghe e dettagliate.Citazione:

Alla fine parliamo di due schede vicine prestazionalmente e molto prestanti complessivamente...ma il divario prestazionale non giustifica i prezzi a mio avviso troppo alti.
Sono due schede che non portano nulla di nuovo...ancora la minestra riscaldata.
Non mi attirano per niente...spero di sentir parlare al più presto delle nuove architetture, il mercato mi sta annoiando :zzz:

Cercate HD4890 o GTX275 review con Google e fate i dovuti confronti...sembra impossibile che girino bustarelle anche sui siti di IT

C'è da dire che se per tutto il web le schede sono nella stessa fascia prestazionale, per hwupgrade non è così...e non si sà il perché!

l'imparzialità su tom's c'è, specialmente su amd, basta che peschi quando hanno recensito un phenom II 950 usando un dissipatore di marca sconosciuta quando quello stock(che dobbiamo dire non è affatto male) andava meglio dicendo infine che il phenom II scaldava più di un i7:shock:Citazione:

The argument NVIDIA gave us was preposterous. The global economy was weakening and NVIDIA cautioned us against recommending a card that in 12 months would not be the right choice because new titles supporting PhysX and new CUDA applications would be coming right around the corner.
The tactics didn’t work obviously, and history showed us that despite NVIDIA’s doomsday warnings - Radeon HD 4800 series owners didn’t live to regret their purchases. Yes, the global economy did take a turn for the worst, but no - NVIDIA’s PhysX and CUDA support hadn’t done anything to incite buyer’s remorse for anyone who has purchased a 4800 series card. The only thing those users got were higher frame rates. (Note that if you did buy a Radeon HD 4870/4850 and severely regretted your purchase due to a lack of PhysX/CUDA support, please post in the comments).
This wasn’t a one time thing. NVIDIA has delivered the same tired message at every single opportunity. NVIDIA’s latest attempt was to punish those reviewers who haven’t been sold on the PhysX/CUDA messages by not sending them GeForce GTS 250 cards for review. The plan seemed to backfire thanks to one vigilant Inquirer reporter
